URBAN TACTICAL OPERATIONS PACKAGE:
The Urban Tactical Operations Package is a two-day mobile training program designed for Public Safety personnel operating in dynamic urban environments. This course combines Close Quarters Battle (CQB) fundamentals with integrated casualty response principles to build a more complete operator mindset focused on movement, communication, and survivability under pressure. Delivered in a progressive format, the program emphasizes practical application over theory, with a strong focus on decision-making, team coordination, and performance under stress.

DAY 1 – CQB FUNDAMENTALS

Principle of CQB
· Two and Four-Man Room Clearing
· Weapon Manipulation and with your stack
· Areas of Responsibility/Coverage· Points of Domination (POD)
· Sectors of Fire
· Clearing basics of simple, to dynamic rooms; and hallways through varying evolutions as class progresses

WHAT: You’ll learn essential CQB fundamentals, including room clearing, weapon handling in a stack and teamwork.

DAY 2: CASUALTY RESPONSE INTEGRATION (STOP THE BLEED FOCUS)

• Recognition of life-threatening hemorrhage in a tactical environment
• Immediate threat vs. casualty care prioritization under stress
• Tourniquet application under time pressure and degraded conditions
• Basic wound management principles (direct pressure, wound packing concepts)
• Self-aid and buddy-aid fundamentals in active environments
• Casualty movement and extraction under potential threat
• Maintaining situational awareness while rendering aid
• Integration of casualty response within movement and team operations
• Decision-making under stress: continue fight, reposition, or extract casualty
• Scenario-based evolutions combining movement, contact, and casualty care

The focus is on recognizing and responding to life-threatening bleeding while maintaining operational effectiveness under stress. Training includes tourniquet application, basic wound management, self-aid and buddy-aid concepts, casualty movement under threat, and integrated scenario-based evolution combining movement, decision-making, and stress exposure.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
To develop personnel capable of operating effectively in urban environments while maintaining the ability to respond to traumatic injury under operational conditions.
